So as a mother, I have discovered that there are some things that really concern me and some things that don't. As a therapist and a mommy the two things that I have been super paranoid about were first the CARSEAT and second of all SIPPY CUPS.I registered for and received the carseat that won all the safety awards. Which Addie also sits in during tornadoes.
As far as the sippy cup goes, we are using straw cups and she does really well with restaurant straws however; home cups with straws are spill proof. So they have weird little straw valves so she has to mash with her gums and then suck! But she is getting the hang of it. Here Daddy is holding the cup up so that when she bites it, water will come. Kinda cheating but it helped her learn the cause and effect of the straw cup.
Most people are somewhat impressed with this but yes Addie can suck through a straw and has been doing it for a while now.

Awww, she IS a "big girl". :) Everytime you post pictures she looks bigger and bigger. She's been growing up so fast.
I swear, I did not think this was Addie. Her hair has a red tint to it in this picture. I kept thinking, who is that baby??
