9 months old on the 26th!!

Now that we are back to school, I realized I probably would not be getting around to this during the week so it is a few days early. Things are changing so quickly it is really hard for me to remember what she is doing that maybe everyone doesn't know about but I will try: Cognitive and Language Milestones:

• Signing "more" when eating
• Waving "bye-bye"
• Uses lots of babbling and inflection
• Protests strongly the removal of something she wants
• Looks for lost things
• Makes /p/ /b/ /m/ /d/ /g/ /l/ sounds
• Has a sweet voice and a mean voice (very funny)

Motor Development (this is the one we are lacking in):

• Sits beautifully with wonderful posture
• Puts all things in her mouth (strings, rocks anything she can find)
• Pushes chest completely off the floor
• Supports weight on hands and knees for a limited amount of time
  
• Scoots backwards on belly
• Spins on belly
• Rolls quickly to whatever she wants
• NO CRAWLING

Other Development:

• 2 bottom teeth
• Eating everything and loving it
• Sleeping through the night about twice a week
• Still have yet to determined an eye color
• Have limited hair but what we have is growing
• Starting to have breakdowns when mommy leaves the room
• Riding in a big girl car seat!! (I need to get a picture)

The most enjoyable thing right now is how funny it is to wake Addie up. She is not on the school schedule yet and she really wants to sleep in until 8:30 or 9. She stretches and whines at 6:30, she is all groggy looking and really has a hard time getting up!!!
