Because it's my blog I can say this!

To all my family and friends,

Most of you know that I will be voting a Democratic ticket in the next week. This is how I believe not about how you believe. You can scream at me all you want, it will not change my opinion just like I will not change yours.

I say this because I continue to get all of these awful emails from you. I want to remind everyone that this is what our country is about having different opinions and voting. I am not enraged at all by your opinions but have found most of you are full of anger and hate for opposing opinions. I feel privileged to know and be loved by passionate people but do not let this election affect your physical health. Honestly, I feel some of you are going to stroke out if McCain doesn' win.

Love you all
and Happy Voting!

I feel the same way. At this point, it's too late to "change my mind" anyway...I already voted :)

Addie,
You are your Ma's granddaugther alright!!! And your Mom and Dad are precious beyond words.
I want you to know that I am voting for you...with you in mind as I go to the polls. I am voting to give you the best possible future, with the chance to enjoy freedom at its fullest, to have the right to be whoever you want to be,in a world that won't judge you because of your color, or your religion or because you are a girl.

Addie, This election is very important to the American people. And everyone is very passionate about their own candidate! I just wish people would realize we all have our own right to choose...
I do know if we keep going the way we are now there will be no working class, no jobs, no health care, no good schools. So I am voting for a change that I hope can bring honesty and American values back to our country.

Addie, I found your mommy's baby book. I was reading what I wrote that was in American headlines the month she was born June 1979 and I wrote. Andrea, gas prices went up to 99 cents a gallon this week! We thought that was so high! And now this past summer gas went almost $4 a gallon! Love, Grammy
