There are so many changes that I can't even begin to recall them all for you. You just have to see Miss Adalynn in her habitat to believe all of her tricks. Our two new best tricks would have to be our love for brushing our teeth and peeing in the potty. Addie's expressive speech skills have kinda halted. She has met all of her milestones and can say all of the sounds for her age but everything kinda sounds the same. However, her receptive language skills have just taken off unbelievably. She is able to understand most of what we tell her. That is how we figured out the potty. I asked her if she pooped and she went to the bathroom at Grammy's house. I sat her on the toilet and she peed in it. We bought her potty and so far everytime that I have sat her on it she has peed!!
Addie is starting to test the waters with mommy and daddy. We have initiated the Dead Puppy policy. She is so stinking cute that when we get onto her she says "no no" and claps her hands (that is what we do). In order to keep from laughing I try to think of dead puppies. I had a good friend tell me about this technique that she uses to keep from laughing. Somedays, it is more successful than others.

Okay, the dead puppy thing is hilarious. Also, that pic of her on the potty may be the cutest thing I have ever seen...I am just saying. She looks super proud of herself! As she should be!
Sometimes I miss so much!!! You've posted a lot lately! I love all of the pics. I am glad Addie is taking to her potty. I think sometimes parents tend to wait to intro the potty because they think their kids aren't ready, but then the kids are afraid of it or something. Gage may never actually be potty trained, but he uses to potty some now too.
I'll have to remember the dead puppy thing! That's too funny!

Absolutely love the potty pic! I don't think even the dead puppy policy will work for me and I KNOW it won't work for Uncle Justin! lol He says Uncles are just there to spoil you. :)
