We had our first Spring Break together as a family! It went rather well. I had planned to introduce Addie to rice cereal over Spring Break and move her to the big girl crib! Ha! Ha! That didn't happen.First let's discuss Addie's outlook on rice cereal: "Mom, I don't really like it"
Now my outlook: Everyone has told me give her rice cereal and she'll sleep through the night! Apparently, the rules for feeding babies rice cereal has changed in the last few years. The recommended age for solids is 4 months but they are starting to prefer 6 months. I guess most people "older moms" fed their babies the rice cereal as early as two weeks to get them to sleep through the night. I don't care if Addie sleeps through the night or not! We only get up once sometimes twice and I am okay with that. The purpose of the rice cereal is for her to learn about manipulating food not sleeping through the night! So needless to say, I am not putting it in a bottle and I am not pushing it on her. We are offering it to her and she shuts her mouth around the spoon and then most of it comes back out! We still have a reverse swallow pattern. Therefore, she isn't sleeping through night and isn't sleeping in the big girl bed. She still sleeps next to me in her bassinet.

Just getting up once or twice is pretty good! Good for you for holding off. Solids made Gage get up more, so it didn't work for us anyway!
Addie looks so cute in her Easter dress. I am sorry it is all so bitter sweet for you.
I am a baby-wearing fanatic! Gage loves seeing things from my POV! If you decide you like the Snugli and want to try some unstructured carriers, let me know! Babywearing can be addictive!
We were in NWA overnight Friday. It was a quick trip for Tony's work or I would have called you.
