Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!!!

We celebrated Jeremy's 30th Birthday this Saturday night with his friends.

I decided to host a murder mystery dinner theater for Jeremy's birthday. I wanted it to be a surprise but there was no way that I was going to pull this off, and work and care for an infant. Jeremy chose the 20's themed, mafia, Italian- speakeasy murder. We visited Party City and bought some decor and we were ready. Everyone brought a dish to complete our Italian potluck. We converted our foyer/dining room into the lounge and dance floor. The living room became the dining area, the breakfast nook was the gambling table. We also discovered that our whirlpool tub makes a fabulous ice chest. We put two bags of ice in the bottom, then sat the drinks in with a layer of rock salt and then covered the drinks with eight additional bags of ice. We all had a great time.

As for Addie, she spent a few hours with Jamie's mom and dad, and Maebrie. I am not sure what they did to her but she slept all night, woke up at 7 and ate and then went back to sleep until 10. Maybe they should keep her more often!!!
