Pediatrician Visit

On Tuesday, July 2nd, we went to the pediatrician. Pediatrician is a new term for me. As a first time mom, I often use the word veterinarian instead and sometimes gynecologist. Obviously very different doctors.

However, it was time for Adalynn's 6 month shots. We weren't behind the clinic just couldn't get us in. So she was actually 7 months and 1 week. She continues to be perfectly healthy but her percentiles are a little scattered on the growth chart.

Height/Length 26 inches 33rd percentile (I knew she was short)

Weight 17lbs 7.5oz 57th percentile

Head Circum 45cm 93rd percentile (she has Jeremy's head)
This is her in her cute outfit to go the pediatrician. I am not sure I feel she needs to look cute to go there because they make us take off all her clothes!

My new milestones:
I can roll everywhere to get what I want
I can put my binks in my mouth all by myself
I am eating 4 oz of cereal and 6 oz of fruits and veggies
I can suck through a straw
I can hold my cup
I sit up independently
I am starting to use a pincer grasp (Donna: that means thumb and pointer finger)
I eat everything but peaches
I hate mashed potatoes (I throw them up)
I have one tooth and the other is about to break the skin
I can transfer toys back and forth from hand to hand
I look for objects when I lose them or drop them
I am kinda sleeping good at night most nights 9 to 3 or 4ish
I have moved to size 3 diapers as well
I can sit up well enough to sit in the shopping cart and high chair when we are out

this is all I can think of right now.
